The Petnome Project

Ah what to say about the Petnome Project? It was created by the brilliant Kevin BattleBlood. It's a database designed to track abilities in pets. This project will help the community so much! By looking at this database we will be able to determine:

• What pets we want to farm for
• What pets we want to level
• What pets we want to hatch an egg with
• What pets we want to race in the derby
• What pets we want to battle with

"Ewwww, 'database' sounds hard!" Actually it's fairly simple. There are only three data related questions that you have to type, the rest are multiple choice. Then your name and email. That's it! You don't even have to remember anything, just bring up the game in a window and copy the data into the form!

(Parents, this would be a great way to teach your kids a little practical knowledge on databases without boring them to death! Heck you don't even have to get into the Mendel-like theories of hatching!)

"But I have a ton of pets. Entering them all will take forEVER!" Okay then just enter when your pet levels up and you get new talents and derby skills. It's not a lot but if everyone who plays Wizard101 did entered those talents into the database every time a pet leveled up, we would be so far ahead!

Friendly and Kevin have teamed up and are now holding a little contest if you enter data. Gobbler pets are prizes! But if you beat me for the prize, I'll whup you at Derby. Just sayin'. :P

An Eventful Day

Yesterday was very eventful.

My Mustard Troll made it to Teen.

(Then this morning he got to adult too!)

Then there was Ravenwood Radio live. With an awesome Study Hall with MythSpent Youth! It makes me want to create another myth wizard! :D

Then of course there was an after party.

Amber showed us the Myth tower trick.

Then Jessica and I went and farmed the Jade Oni.

Then we went to Leesha's house to see her flock of piggles! (I like a "wiggle of piggles" better though.)

Here I am showing off my new Queen Spider and my new frosty outfit.

Then Stephen, via Kevin, asked to get a screenshot with me!

I nearly fainted! I mean. WOW! I like my outfit, but I didn't know Steve would!

Well... Back to farming I guess. :)

Celestia Sneak Peek

KI just made a video with their local news. In it they show a wizard walking around IN celestia! Watch it a couple of times and tell me what you think.

I don't think we are going to swim. :( But it looks pretty awesome!

Hey everyone! How do you like the new template? Sorry about not being able to read the title, I'm working on a header.

Anyway, today I had a day off! It was nice because I had to work this weekend. So I decided, today is farming day!

First order of bussiness, get me a crab pet! So I take the alts of doom (Kestrel and my real-life friend's ice wizard,) and head on over to the Crazed Forest Spirit. It takes us a long time but my friend gets one! So we farm. And farm. And farm. And farm. And farm. And farm. Nada. He didn't even get another one. Grrrrrr!

Then we decide that all this farming would go a lot faster if he had some/all of his Grandmaster gear. So off to Snowcrusher, who was suprisingly lenent with us and gave up his boots after a few quick battles. So we head off to Yeva Spiderkeeper. We spend hours farming and get nothing! No nice new pet, no hat. Just a lot of Storm shoes, which I already have and things I can't use. GAH! SHE IS SO EVIL! So I take a break. I come back and in a few battle I have two Queen Spider pets and my friend has his hat. Woot! I will never farm Ms. Evil again! At least not for a while....

So now I'm back to farming the Crazed Forest Spirit. Nothing as yet. I will let you know when I get one! :)
